You can easily check this in Home&apos;Bank.</p><p>Go to Star Fund &gt; Star Fund plan. If you see the entry <strong>&apos;Increase automatically&apos;: &apos;Yes&apos;</strong>, then you have automatic indexation.</p><ul><li><strong>Do you prefer the increased ceiling?  </strong></li></ul><p>You have to explicitly make the choice for the increased ceiling again every year. You can do this yourself in Home’Bank or in the ING Banking app. </p><ul><li><strong>What is the annual amount that you have chosen</strong><strong>?</strong></li></ul><p>It is easy to check this in Home’Bank.</p><p>Go to Star Fund &gt; Star Fund plan: you can see there the amount “Your basic plan this year” and the amount of your periodic payment.</p><p>Or go to Star Fund &gt; &apos;This year&apos;s payments.&apos; Here you can see that too and you can make a free deposit, if you will. </p><p> </p><ul><li><strong>What if you don’t want automatic indexation because you have chosen a specific annual amount? </strong></li></ul><p>(e.g. 600 euros, which equates to a periodic amount of 50 euros per month) ING has not made any adjustment to the annual or periodic amount.</p><ul><li><strong>Do you wish to change the amount or frequency of your Star Fund plan?</strong></li></ul><p>This can be done through Home’Bank or the ING Banking app. In the overview, click on your Star Fund account. Go to ‘Change plan&apos; and make your choice. </p><ul><li><strong>Do you have a standing order to the reference account linked to your Star Fund? </strong></li></ul><p>Make sure you have sufficient balance in your reference account linked to your Star Fund. If necessary, adjust the amount so that your subscription can continue. If there is insufficient balance in the linked reference account, it will not be possible to continue the subscription.<br /> </p><ul><li><strong>What if you are at least 55 years of age and opened your Star Fund before your 55th birthday?</strong></li></ul><p>From 1 January in the year you turned 55, an annual maximum amount was fixed for deposits into Star Fund for the next 10 years.<br />So, you cannot deposit more than the amount of this personal ceiling. The personal maximum will also be indexed due to the increase in the tax ceilings, but you may be limited in your choice of annual amount.</p><p> </p><ul><li><p><strong>Important! “Standing order amount” versus “Periodic amount of Star Fund plan”</strong></p></li></ul><p><strong>Do you have a standing order from a current account (with ING or another bank) to the reference account linked to your Star Fund (usually an ING Invest Account)?</strong></p><p>There is a difference between the periodic amount of the Star Fund plan, on the one hand, and the amount of any standing order to feed into the reference account, on the other.</p><p>The adjustments made by ING <strong>following a change in the tax ceilings</strong> relate to the amounts of the Star Fund periodic savings plans. </p><p>Ex. The monthly amount from before were modified from 85 euro (1020/12) to 87,50 euro (1050/12).</p><p><strong>ING does not adjust the amounts of standing orders.</strong> You have to do this yourself via the ING Banking app or Home’Bank (managed via Payments – Originating account – Scheduled payments).</p><p>To avoid a situation where the periodic Star Fund order does not continue due to insufficient balance in the linked reference account, you therefore <strong>need to adjust the amount of your standing order yourself. </strong>Based on the example above, you need to modify by yourself the amount of the standing order from 85 to 87,50 euro.</p>"}},{"title":"Long term saving insurance ING Life Invest Long Term Savings (Branch 23) for the income years 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029","richBody":{"value":"<ul class=\"check-mark\"><li>The<strong> tax ceiling</strong> at which you enjoy a (possible) tax reduction of 30% is <strong>2,450 euros</strong></li><li><strong>How can you check this information in Home’Bank?</strong><br />In the overview, click on your ING Life Invest Long Term Savings and check the details of your long-term savings insurance.</li><li><strong>Do you have a standing order to your long-term savings insurance?</strong><br />Check this and, if necessary, adjust the amount so that your premium can be invested in your ING Life Invest Long Term Savings.</li></ul><p><strong>Tip: </strong>Make sure you have sufficient balance in your current account linked to your ING Life Invest Long Term Savings.</p><p> </p><ul><li><strong>Increase of premiums from the age of 55</strong></li></ul><p>In this case, it is also recommended not to increase the premium anymore (except for indexation), as the date of the final taxation would then be postponed, which is fiscally disadvantageous for the client. After the age of 65, no premium increase is allowed (during the last 10 years of the contract).</p><p>What happens if I increase my premium payment? You can freely choose how much and when you contribute to your contract.</p><p> </p><p>Increase of premiums from the age of 55:</p><p>If the amount of the premium (excluding indexation) is increased from the age of 55, tax legislation treats the contract as if it were subscribed from the age of 55, with an anticipatory tax after 10 years (and not at the age of 60). The starting point of this period is then the date of the premium increase.</p><p>Belgian tax legislation does not allow, under the long-term savings scheme, to increase your annual premiums from the age of 65, to extend the duration of the contract, or to start a new long-term savings contract from this age.</p><p> </p><p></p><p> </p>"}}]},{"componentType":"accordion"}]},"legalZone":{"flexComponents":[{"componentType":"paragraph","richBody":{"value":"<p></p>"}}]}}}
