Today, it includes more than 2,500 artworks, featuring both modern and contemporary art, mainly from the 1960s to the present day. The collection continues to be enriched with new acquisitions. It is multidisciplinary and covers the main artistic movements of the second half of the 20th century and the early 21st century.\r\n\r\nThe artworks are spread across the 54,000 m² of the Marnix building, as well as in the main regional offices. The open space of the bank's headquarters offers a unique way to experience art. \r\n\r\nThe new hanging of the collection is curated around the vision ‘Open space, open mind’. It embodies the fact that art broadens the horizons of those who work there, and those who enter, encouraging interaction. The artworks are arranged into nine themes that lie at the heart of the human condition: Welcome, Dreaming, Exploring, Thinking, Doing, Sharing, Connecting, Belonging and Loving.","headerImage":{"extension":"jpg","original":"https://assets.ing.com/m/692cc6caa8d4a1f2/original/SV-Art-web-Collection-2.jpg","transformBaseUrl":"https://assets.ing.com/transform/daaa0cb7-2eec-40c7-a4d3-e1af96c3a8c1/SV-Art-web-Collection-2","type":"image","width":3543},"subtitle":"Over the course of 60 years, ING Belgium - and previously BBL, Banque Lambert and Banque de Bruxelles – has acquired and developed a collection of 2,500 artworks.
