II. ING customers who do not have access to the ING Banking App or Home'Bank and notifiers who are not ING customers :
It is possible to notify a decease to ING via Report a death.
You will then quickly receive an email with instructions and initial useful information.
You can also make an appointment at your ING branch.
In all cases, to finalise the death notification, the death certificate issued by the registry office of the commune where the death occurred or a notary's document confirming the death is required.

2. The death must also be reported to the registry office in the commune where the death occurred and, if it is in another commune, the commune where the deceased will be buried/cremated. This formality can be carried out directly by the undertakers.
3. The local authority will draw up a death certificate and provide you with copies. These documents will help you make your declaration to other bodies (banks, pension funds, etc.).
