The parental controls available depend on the accounts your child holds.
Yes. With the “Add a co-parent or guardian" feature, you can grant access to another parent or legal guardian for shared management.
Only someone who is a legal representative of the child can obtain this access. You will need to upload proof (such as household composition, birth certificate, court ruling, or legal document) during the request.
Once approved, the co-parent will have the same rights as the existing parent, including the ability to manage the child’s funds without prior approval.

If your children have a current account, they can use the ING banking app from the age of 10 to view their balance and transactions history. However, their access is limited. They cannot change card limits or unfreeze their card. Full control remains with uou as the parent or legal guardian.

As a parent or legal representative, you remain responsible for all actions your child performs with the account. It is therefore a safe and structured way for the child to learn financial responsibility while you supervise.
When opening the ING Savings Account digitally, simply choose to grant your child access during the setup process. The option will automatically show up once your child is 10 years or older. Authorization is not available on our ING Tempo Savings.
Adding authorisation to an existing savings account
Do you already have an account? Then you can visit your local branch at any time to adjust the settings. It is not possible to add or remove authorisation on an existing account online.
