In other words, upon maturity the issuer undertakes to pay any possible coupons and to repay at least the invested capital (excluding costs).</li><li><strong>or transfers</strong> money to the issuer (potential risk of capital losses via derivative instruments). In other words, upon maturity the issuer undertakes to repay a certain amount. However, this amount may be less than the capital invested (excluding costs) as this depends on the type of underlying asset and the development of the underlying values price.
