You can make deposits until the year in which you celebrate your 64th birthday. The units of your Star Fund will be retained as long as no sale order is given. </p><p>Please note: there are different milestones when you are saving for your pension. <a href=\"https://www.ing.be/en/individuals/pension/pension-savings-54-milestone\">Here</a> you can find more information.  </p>"}},{"title":"How much can I save via Star Fund?","richBody":{"value":"<p>You must save at least 10 euros per month (or 120 euros per year). The maximum amount you can save in 2024 depends on how much tax reduction you want to enjoy. The tax reduction is calculated at the special average rate of 30% or 25%, excluding municipal taxes. You benefit from an annual tax reduction of: </p><ul><li><p>30% if you opt for the ceiling of 1,050 euros in 2025. The maximum tax benefit is then 315 euros, additional municipal taxes excluding. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>25% if you opt for the higher ceiling of 1,350 euros in 2025. The maximum tax benefit is then 337.5 euros, additional municipal taxes excluding. Here you can also find all information about your Star Fund plan: how much you have already deposited this year and what you have planned to save this year, amount and periodicity, date of the next deposit. </p><p>In the ING Banking app you can also consult your Star Fund account in the product overview. Usually, the risk you want to take for your investments remains stable over the years. But depending on your age, investment horizon or your financial situation, your risk appetite may change. You can then choose to stop your plan, temporarily or permanently. </p>"}},{"title":"Can I withdraw my money if necessary?","richBody":{"value":"<p>You can withdraw your money any time you want. Please note that your Star Fund account must have a minimum term of 10 years.  </p><p>Moreover, we strongly discourage you from withdrawing money from your Star Fund account before your 60th birthday, as this is very disadvantageous from a tax perspective. The capital will then be taxed at a rate of 33% (excluding municipal taxes).  </p>"}},{"title":"I'm turning 65 this year. Do I have to withdraw my pension savings now or can I do so later?","richBody":{"value":"<p>From the year in which you turn 65, you can no longer make deposits into your plan. To withdraw money, you can sell all units of your fund, or parts of it. If you do not need it immediately or if market conditions are not favorable, you can also leave your investment. You keep the fund, and therefore also the possible return.
