You take out Travel insurance ING for 1 year. The policy takes effect at midnight the following day or on a date you choose.
The insurance shall be tacitly renewed for one year at a time, unless one of the parties objects.

The term of the ING Temporary Travel insurance policy
The travel insurance policy takes effect on a date you choose or at midnight the following day. The policy ends on the date that you selected when you took out the policy and cannot be for longer than 28 days.

The car assistance option depends on the duration of the cover, with a maximum of €46.80 including charges and taxes for a maximum period of 28 days.

If you opt for Travel Insurance ING , you can also take out cancellation insurance (optional and subject to a charge).
Trips that were booked before the cancellation insurance was taken out or the departure date is less than 30 days from the date the Travel insurance ING was taken out are not covered.
However, if you book a trip and take out the Travel insurance ING cancellation option immediately (within 24 hours), the 30-day waiting period does not apply and you are covered from midnight the following day or from a later date of your choice.

In Italy, third-party insurance is compulsory on the ski slopes. In the absence of proof, you may be refused access to the slopes and fined and have your ski pass withdrawn.
