Then you may need a higher limit temporarily. It&apos;s okay! <strong>Increase your limit in the same way as you lower it</strong>.</p><p><strong>An important tip: </strong>only increase your limits <strong>temporarily</strong>. This way, you automatically switch back to the standard limit as soon as the set period expires. It gives you extra peace of mind.</p><p>Please note that an increase in your limit only takes effect <strong>after a safety period of 4 hours</strong>. And when you increase your limit, you will receive a text message from ING to inform you of this. <strong>Did you not request the increase yourself?
