The basic cover (personal assistance) for a Travel insurance ING annual package is 58 euros for 1 person or 78 euros for a family (rate valid on 27 May 2024 and revisable after prior notice). The basic cover (personal assistance) for temporary Travel insurance ING costs a minimum of 14 euros and maximum 46,90 euros/person for cover in Europe and a minimum of 28 euros and maximum 78,60 euros/person for cover worldwide. The amount depends on the term of the travel insurance policy. The premium includes fees and taxes.
ING Travel insurance is an annual travel insurance policy insured by Inter Partner Assistance nv. ING Travel Insurance is travel assistance insurance policy (non-life), subject to Belgian legislation.
You take out the annual ING Travel insurance for a full year. Every year on the expiry date, your insurance will be renewed automatically for 1 year, unless you cancel it at least 3 months before the expiry date.
You can calculate your premium and apply for your insurance online at ing.be, through the ING Banking app, through Home'Bank or in an ING branch.
Trips that were booked before the date the cancellation insurance was taken out and the departure date of which is less than 30 days from the date the ING Travel insurance was taken out are not covered.
However, if you book a trip and take out the ING Travel Insurance cancellation option immediately (within 24 hours), the 30-day waiting period does not apply and you are covered from midnight (the following day) or from a later date of your choice.
