1. Download the latest version of the ING Banking app onto your smartphone and open it.

2. If you are not yet an ING customer, tap 'I'm new at ING' and follow the different steps.

3. If you are already an ING customer, tap 'I'm an ING customer' and choose between taking a picture of your ID document/passport or using the itsme® app.

Download the ING Banking app from your app store and re-create your profile in the app.

 

  1. Download the ING Banking app through the App store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). 
  2. Open the ING Banking app on your smartphone and follow the steps. 
  3. Create a new profile by scanning your identity document or with itsme®

After this you can start using your ING Banking app like your used to.

1. Go to ing.be and click ‘Log in’. You’ll find the button at the top right of the page.

2. Open the ING Banking app on your smartphone and tap the scanner icon at the bottom of the login screen. Scan the QR code on your computer.

3.  Follow the steps shown in your ING Banking app to complete the login.

The ING Banking app is secured with your 5-digit code, fingerprint or facial recognition, so your banking cannot be accessed by third parties via the app on your smartphone or tablet. 

  1. If your device is lost or stolen, you can delete  your profile yourself via Home’Bank and Business'Bank: go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Change your security settings’ and block the device. Or contact us and we will help you.
  2. Have you also lost your bank cards? Block them quickly and easily or call Card Stop on +32 (0)78 170 170. Available 24/7. Sending a new ING debit card can cost 9.99 euros.

The good news is, we have alternatives that mean you no longer need a card reader. Find out how to use your ING Banking app to log in to Home’Bank and Business’Bank or use itsme®.

If you no longer need the card reader,  remember that it's considered a small electronic item. So you have to recycle it as such. You can dispose of it at a container park near you or a collection point for small electronic items. You can find collection points on Recupel's website.
