To pay you via Bancontact, your friend needs to activate mobile payments in their banking app.

If their bank doesn’t support it, they can download the Bancontact Pay app via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Payments made via Bancontact are not instant.

If you haven’t received the payment after 48 working hours, ask the sender for proof of payment. If the payment is confirmed but the amount is still not visible in your account, the sender should contact their bank.
