You do not pay any additional costs (e.g. distribution tax). You pay a fixed rate for the electricity generated by your solar panels (€0.2/kWh),  so this part of your energy bill remains fixed for 10 years.</li><li>Do you use more energy than your solar panels generate? Then you pay a mix of a fixed/variable rate for the remaining energy:<ul><li>Fixed energy rate for 1,000kWh/year. For ING-customers this is free for the first 2 years (2,000kWh in total spread over 2 years)!</li><li>Variable energy rate: for any remaining electricity used, you pay a variable rate. If market prices go down, this part of your energy bill goes down as well.
