Once built, the accommodation is sold and then placed under rental management with the group’s companies.”</span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN\" dir=\"ltr\"><span>Against a less favourable backdrop for residential property, this diversification is a major advantage for the group, which generates turnover of around €50 million. Jordane Lamy has observed a slowdown in the residential market, <strong>while tourism and second homes remain more resilient</strong>. “We are fortunate to have a fairly diversified business. That is a real strength at a time when some segments of the sector, particularly in Wallonia, need fresh momentum.”</span></span></span></span></span></p>"}},{"componentType":"sectionTitle","title":"Focusing on destinations closer to home"},{"componentType":"paragraph","richBody":{"value":"<p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN\" dir=\"ltr\"><span>Under the Anatura brand, Groupe Lamy develops its own destinations in Belgium and Luxembourg. Its positioning <strong>combines comfort, contact with nature and short breaks close to home</strong>. Following an initial park with 200 accommodation units and a hotel at the Lacs de l’Eau d’Heure, a new holiday village with 130 units was built in the Ardennes, while development continues in the Grand Duchy.</span></span></span></span></span></p><blockquote><p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN\" dir=\"ltr\"><span>Our Green Key certification is reassessed every year, precisely to ensure that we continue to give it the attention it deserves</span></span></span></span></span></p></blockquote><p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN\" dir=\"ltr\"><span>“You do not necessarily have to travel very far to enjoy a change of scenery for a few days or to organise a corporate seminar,” Jordane Lamy points out. Forests, water and natural landscapes are integral to the projects. <strong>Fitting into the surrounding environment is an important consideration</strong> from the design stage onwards</span></span> <span lang=\"EN\" dir=\"ltr\"><span>and therefore shapes the architecture and choice of materials.</span></span> “<span lang=\"EN\" dir=\"ltr\"><span>The projects include photovoltaic panels, geothermal energy where the site allows, and smart systems to manage and reduce energy consumption.”</span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN\" dir=\"ltr\"><span>Anatura’s tourism sites are also working towards Green Key certification, which requires regular monitoring of environmental practices. “It is important to us that <strong>our environmental credentials are not just greenwashing</strong>. They must be reflected tangibly in our day-to-day operations. The certification is reassessed every year, precisely to ensure that we continue to give it the attention it deserves,” Jordane Lamy stresses.</span></span></span></span></span></p>"}},{"componentType":"sectionTitle","title":"Sustainable business parks"},{"componentType":"paragraph","richBody":{"value":"<p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN\" dir=\"ltr\"><span>The group is now extending its sustainable construction expertise into a more recent line of business: the development of commercial properties. In Anderlecht, Groupe Lamy is building a <strong>new headquarters for Schneider Electric</strong>, while in Verviers it is developing Green Sphere, a business park comprising units for SMEs and office space. This diversification remains true to the group’s real estate focus while opening up a new market.</span></span></span></span></span></p><blockquote><p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN\" dir=\"ltr\"><span>Managing our tourism projects ourselves teaches us to ask the right questions with future tenants of our business parks in mind</span></span></span></span></span></p></blockquote><p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN\" dir=\"ltr\"><span>For its business parks, Groupe Lamy aims for at least a BREEAM Excellent rating, or even Outstanding where the budget allows. <strong>The group also retains ownership of the buildings</strong>, considering their operation and running costs over the full operating life. “Managing our tourism projects ourselves teaches us to ask the right questions with future tenants of our business parks in mind. You need to take a long-term view</span></span></span></span></span></p></blockquote><p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN\" dir=\"ltr\"><span>In this context, Jordane Lamy emphasises the importance of building a long-term banking relationship. Groupe Lamy has worked with ING for many years: “Over time, we have come to know each other well. <strong>Tourism is not always an easy sector to finance. </strong>You need to be able to explain that you are not simply financing a building; you are creating a destination and an entire ecosystem around it.”</span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN\" dir=\"ltr\"><span>In his view, this understanding of the business model has supported the group’s growth. <strong>ING has also backed its environmental direction</strong>, particularly through tailored financing. “For a banking partner, it is not enough to analyse a snapshot of a project at a given moment.
