Innovation is crucial to achieving these goals,” says Pieter De Brabandere. ‘For example, we have developed a <strong>circular concrete, for which we use recovered raw materials</strong>. We have built a large installation to valorise concrete rubble from demolition works into concrete sand and concrete granulates.’</p><p>Quality is paramount for the construction sector. Tests have shown that De Brabandere&apos;s Eco-Concrete is equivalent to conventional concrete. ‘For a project on our own site, we produced concrete in which <strong>30% of the sand has been replaced by recycled concrete sand</strong>.
