"We distinguish ourselves in two ways: on the one hand, we use ecological materials, such as wood wool or wood fibre for insulation. They are much more efficient and much healthier for the building and the environment," explains Claude Vermeys. "In addition, we try to find as many building materials as possible that are reusable and that we can give a second life. Think of roof tiles, doors, wood,... even a complete kitchen."
In order to keep construction workers employed even during slow periods, CC Autrement invests in the acquisition and renovation of small properties. ‘We usually buy a single-family home, which we then renovate with a loan provided by ING. Once the renovation is complete, we can sell or rent out this high-quality home. This also helps us to further expand our business,’ says Vermeys.
