The activation of vouchers is driven by the merchant with the voucher issuer (Pluxee, Monizze, Edenred, …). This can not be done unilaterally by ING and our partner company PAY.
That said, ING/PAY play a technical enabling role on the payment terminal.
Please note that Meal Vouchers, Eco Vouchers, and Gift Vouchers can only be activated on physical payment terminals. These voucher types are not supported on SoftPOS.
Set up contract with the voucher issuer (mandatory)
A merchant must have a direct contract with the voucher issuer (Edenred, Monizze, or Pluxee). Without this contract, vouchers cannot be accepted.
The voucher issuer validates the merchant's eligibility and determines the applicable commercial terms.
Activation Process
Register with one of the following voucher issuers:
Prepare the following information:
Ensure you have the Terminal ID of every payment terminal on which vouchers need to be activated.
Need help finding your Terminal ID?
If the voucher issuer asks for the name of the terminal acquirer, provide:
Once your registration is approved, the voucher issuer will provide a unique identifier.
Send the unique identifier to ingmerchantservices@ing.be.
ING and PAY will then activate voucher acceptance on the payment terminal.
