The person you give this authorisation to is called a mandate holder. They can, within limits you decide, use your account to make payments, view balances, download statements and carry out other banking operations. You remain the legal account holder and, as such, you are responsible for all the mandate holder’s actions.
"}},{"title":"Who can be granted a power of attorney?","richBody":{"value":"Anyone over the age of 18 can be a mandate holder, although some exceptions might occur based on legal reasons. If the person is an ING customer you simply add them to your business account(s) via Business'Bank, just send us the details via this online form.

*Co-signing will soon be possible in Business’Bank. In the meantime you can request this type of power of attorney via this online form.
"}},{"title":"How do I set up a power of attorney?","richBody":{"value":"Log into your account, go to the profile menu and select Access management. This is where you see who has access to your account and where you can add and remove powers of attorney.
Would you like to add a mandate holder? Then you need his or her national number. This can be found on the back of the identity card and consists of 11 digits.
