The lease payment is processed in the accounts according to the residual value (or accounting value) of the vehicle at the end of the lease period.

The lease is considered an investment. The vehicle is recognised on the assets side of the balance sheet. The interest is booked as an expense in the income statement.

The personal data communicated in connection with any leasing agreement and, where applicable, in the context of the management of such leasing agreement are processed
In particular, the data entered or selected during the online request might be temporarily stored for maximum 30 days for improving the customer experience (marketing) by offering the option for pre-filling data when restarting an uncompleted online request. Or you can choose to start your online request without the data previously stored.
These data are communicated to the other companies of the ING group established in the European Union and carrying out banking, insurance brokerage, financial and/or other activities (list available on request) for the purposes of centralised customer management, marketing (except advertisements by e-mail and unless opposed, on request and free of charge, by the person concerned to direct marketing), global vision of the customer, providing their services (where applicable) and control of the regularity of transactions (including the prevention of irregularities)
They are also communicated to insurance companies outside the ING group and established in the European Union and to their possible representatives in Belgium, for which the bank acts as an insurance intermediary (list on request), provided that they are necessary for the purposes of (if applicable) conclusion and management of insurance contracts (to assess the insured risk), marketing of insurance services (except advertisements by e-mail and except opposition, on request and without costs, of the person concerned to direct marketing), centralized customer management and control of the regularity of transactions (including the prevention of irregularities).
Any private individual may access and correct the data relating to him or her. He or she may also request that the personal data be erased or that processing of the data be restricted, and the person may also object to the processing of the data. Lastly, he or she has the right to ask for the data to be transferred to a third party.
