How it works You choose a vehicle from the supplier of your choice. ING Lease buys it.  Use it for a fixed lease period, and pay off the investment in fixed monthly amounts.   
Included in your monthly amount
  • 100% of the financing, including VAT.
  • Other costs such as lettering, software or training can be included under certain conditions.
  
Your benefits
  • You retain your cash: this form of financing covers 100% of the costs, including VAT.
  • Possibility of financial renting: lower monthly installments thanks to a higher residual value (above 15%).

The lease payment is processed in the accounts according to the residual value (or accounting value) of the vehicle at the end of the lease period.  

Financial Leasing

Residual value lower than or equal to 5% of the investment amount (on-balance)

Financial Renting

Residual value as from 16% of the investment amount (off-balance)

The lease is considered an investment. The vehicle is recognised on the assets side of the balance sheet. The interest is booked as an expense in the income statement.

 

Benefits:

  • Both the depreciation and the interest offer a tax advantage.
  • There are possible subsidies.

The lease payment is regarded as rent. You therefore enter it as costs in your income statement.

 

 

Benefits:

  • The lease does not affect your balance sheet (ratios).
  • The rentals are booked as costs and you therefore optimise your balance sheet.
  • The lease payments are up to 100% tax deductible, depending on the CO2 emissions.

In addition to cars and delivery vans, you can also rent trucks, buses, machines, company equipment, IT equipment, buildings and all kinds of equipment for sustainable purposes.

You can buy the vehicle, renew your contract or choose a dealer to whom ING Lease sells the vehicle.
